ATLANTA – Georgia State Athletics enjoyed another highly successful semester in the classroom with a combined 3.23 grade point average for the spring 2024 term, including 227 student-athletes who earned academic honors with a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Combined with a 3.26 GPA last fall, the Georgia State student-athlete population posted a 3.25 GPA for the 2023-24 academic year.
GSU Athletics has maintained a GPA (semester or cumulative) of 3.0 or higher for 32 consecutive semesters, dating back to 2008.
The Georgia State women's tennis team led the way with a 3.95 semester GPA for the spring, followed by the men's tennis program at 3.
