Newton plays for Newberry High School (Newberry, Floriday) down in the sunshine state. His Junior stats last season were extremely impressive, racking up 62 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
NC State offered Newton last week on May 13th, and he also holds offers from UCF, Michigan St.
